The native Record button is manual and per-meeting: a user has to remember to start it, it isn't tied to a policy, and it can be turned off. Compliance recording is automatic and governed by an admin-assigned policy, so every call made by an in-scope user is captured whether or not anyone remembers. Our bot also produces per-participant (unmixed) audio and speaker-separated transcripts, which native recording does not.

Where are the recordings stored?

Recordings and transcripts are captured on your dedicated server and can be uploaded automatically to your own Microsoft SharePoint document library, so the files live inside your Microsoft 365 tenant under your retention and access controls. Yes. Every recorded call is transcribed automatically using Azure AI Speech-to-Text, with speaker diarization that separates the transcript by speaker. Because we also capture per-participant audio, transcripts can attribute speech accurately even on busy multi-party calls, producing searchable, auditable text alongside the audio.

The service is built to support recorded-communication obligations under regulations such as HIPAA, FINRA Rule 3110/4511, SEC Rule 17a-4, Dodd-Frank, and MiFID II — through automatic capture, tamper-evident archiving to your tenant, transcription, and configurable retention. It is one control in a broader compliance program; it does not by itself make an organization compliant, and we never claim to guarantee compliance.

What does 'dedicated server per client' mean?

Every customer's recording bot runs on its own isolated, US-hosted server that we fully manage. Your recordings, transcripts, configuration, and processing are never shared with another tenant. This single-tenant model gives you stronger data isolation than multi-tenant SaaS recorders and keeps your compliance data separate end to end.
